The BSM role is responsible for all sales activities from lead generation to close; prospecting, networking, lead qualification and verification, sales and sales set-up, and oversees start-up accounts and works with Operations, Legal, and Accounting, to ensure smooth transition for new customers.  The BSM is responsible for keeping accurate records of client and prospect information and updating the CRM with new and existing account information.  This position is responsible for developing regional, statewide, and national target markets, promoting CCS to geographical and vertical markets through client referrals, prospecting, cold calling, and networking.  This role is based out of Salinas, California.

 

Challenges and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Research target industry trends for sales strategies
  • Develop sales strategies to support an aggressive sales expansion plan
  • Develop a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales plan
  • Prepare sales action plans and schedules
  • Gather and prepare lists of qualified leads
  • Generate, qualify, nurture, and convert leads
  • Establish new accounts and new business through lead generation
  • Penetrate target market segments via direct and digital marketing, phone, e-mail and in-person meetings
  • Network with existing customers
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Attend industry related trade shows and networking events
  • Utilize Company website and e-marketing tools
  • Identify needs of prospective clients and provide solution based presentations
  • Respond to sales inquiries and plan and direct marketing activities
  • Prepare written proposals
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and maintain a reference list to use for sales action
  • Negotiate pricing with customers and prospects
  • Coordinate start-up of new accounts
  • Participate in marketing events, seminars, trade shows and telemarketing campaigns
  • Maintain sales activity reports and recaps

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • A related Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university and five+ years related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Experience in revenue cycle management and collections industry helpful and extremely desirable.
  • Current Class C California Driver’s License.
  • Must be well organized and possess excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Experience in direct sales and marketing essential.
